Spu\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed autopilota se tak doned\u00e1vna vyu\u017e\u00edvalo v\u00fdhradn\u011b v\u00a0tzv. klidov\u00e9 f\u00e1zi letu (teda ve chv\u00edli, kdy dos\u00e1hne po\u017eadovan\u00e9 letov\u00e9 hladiny).Krom\u011b udr\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed trajektorie letu v\u00a0klidov\u00e9 f\u00e1zi, se dnes automatick\u00e9 procedury vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed zcela b\u011b\u017en\u011b i p\u0159i p\u0159ist\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed. Piloti p\u0159\u00edtomn\u00ed v\u00a0kokpitu jsou tak zodpov\u011bdn\u00ed za spr\u00e1vn\u00e9 proveden\u00ed man\u00e9vr\u016f v\u00a0\u00favodn\u00ed \u010d\u00e1sti letu a pot\u00e9 jejich \u010dinnost spo\u010d\u00edv\u00e1 p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm ve sledov\u00e1n\u00ed a kontrole autopilota a udr\u017eov\u00e1n\u00ed informa\u010dn\u00edho toku s\u00a0\u0159\u00edzen\u00edm letov\u00e9ho provozu v\u00a0pozemn\u00edch stanic\u00edch.Roz\u0161i\u0159ov\u00e1n\u00ed automatizace \u00fakon\u016f \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed letadla se tedy zam\u011b\u0159uje p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm na uveden\u00e9 \u00favodn\u00ed f\u00e1ze letu, kter\u00e9 jsou velmi n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00e9. Technologie autonomn\u00edho startu je sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed dlouhodob\u00e9ho v\u00fdvojov\u00e9ho z\u00e1m\u011bru Autonomn\u00edho poj\u00ed\u017ed\u011bn\u00ed vzletu a p\u0159ist\u00e1n\u00ed (Autonomous Taxi, Take-Off and Landing), kter\u00fd se orientuje na vytvo\u0159en\u00ed komplexn\u00edho syst\u00e9mu pro vyu\u017eit\u00ed autopilota na v\u0161echny f\u00e1ze letu. Jeho c\u00edlem je dos\u00e1hnout maxim\u00e1ln\u00ed bezpe\u010dnosti na z\u00e1klad\u011b kontinu\u00e1ln\u00edho vyhodnocov\u00e1n\u00ed letov\u00fdch podm\u00ednek prost\u0159ednictv\u00edm inteligentn\u00edho softwaru.V\u00a0prosinci 2019 byl poprv\u00e9 \u00fasp\u011b\u0161n\u011b otestov\u00e1n autonomn\u00ed vzlet spole\u010dnost\u00ed Airbus. Test byl proveden celkem 8kr\u00e1t, p\u0159i\u010dem\u017e se poka\u017ed\u00e9 povedlo vzl\u00e9tnout a dos\u00e1hnout po\u017eadovan\u00e9 letov\u00e9 hladiny. Dal\u0161\u00edm krokem je testov\u00e1n\u00ed autonomn\u00edho poj\u00ed\u017ed\u011bn\u00ed po runwayi, je\u017e je pl\u00e1nov\u00e1no na polovinu roku 2020.
